Job Description:
Martide is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a new Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will maintain all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations. Candidates with European vessel experience are preferred..
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and repair electrical and automation systems onboard.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
Support engineering operations during repairs and inspections.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as an ETO on Oil/Chemical Tankers
European vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
