Job Description:
88 ACES is recruiting an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for an Oil/Chemical Tanker vessel. The ETO will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems onboard.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Monitor automation, alarm, control, and safety systems.
Assist with testing, inspections, and electrical repairs.
Ensure compliance with onboard electrical safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid ETO Certificate of Competency / relevant ETO certification
Previous ETO experience
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents
