Job Description:
Status Maritime Corp. is urgently hiring a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The ETO will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical, electronic, and automation systems. The position is available for ASAP joining.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
Monitor and maintain automation, control, alarm, and safety systems.
Assist with electrical repairs and planned maintenance activities.
Carry out inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in accordance with vessel procedures.
Requirements:
Valid ETO Certificate of Competency / appropriate certification
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Relevant experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers
Good command of English
Valid passport and seafarer documentation
Availability to join ASAP
