Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is currently recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its fleet of Crude Oil Tankers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and repair electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard.
Troubleshoot faults in power generation, distribution, and control systems.
Perform planned preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
Keep accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency
Previous experience as ETO on Crude Oil Tankers or tanker vessels preferred
Knowledge of tanker electrical and automation systems
