Job Description:
An LPG shipping company is seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its LPG fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel's electrical, electronic, and automation systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all onboard equipment. Previous LPG or gas carrier experience is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems onboard.
Inspect and repair automation, alarm, and control systems.
Ensure electrical equipment complies with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency
Previous experience as ETO on LPG or similar gas carrier preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
