Job Description:

Wilhelmsen is recruiting 3 Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) for a takeover LNG Tanker vessel. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and safe operation of the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems. Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
  • Monitor automation, control, alarm, and safety systems.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective actions.
  • Maintain technical records and comply with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid STCW certificates.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.
  • Valid ATLGT Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
  • Relevant experience as an ETO on LNG vessels.
