Job Description:
Western Shipping Southeast Asia, Inc. is urgently recruiting 4 Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) for deployment onboard Bulk Carrier vessels. Candidates are required to join ASAP / August 2026. The ETO will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems and equipment onboard.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical installations.
Monitor and maintain automation, alarm, control, and safety systems.
Assist with inspections, testing, and repairs of electrical equipment.
Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid ETO Certificate of Competency / relevant ETO certification
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as ETO onboard merchant vessels
Bulk Carrier experience preferred
Availability for urgent deployment
