ETO / Electrician for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

An established maritime employer is hiring an experienced ETO / ELCN to join Chemical / Product MR Tankers for the September/October 2026 deployment.

The successful candidate will support the vessel's electrical and electronic systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment, automation, and associated systems onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Monitor automation, control, and alarm systems.
• Assist with inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with vessel safety and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as ETO / ELCN
• Experience on Chemical / Product MR Tankers is advantageous
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable to rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid electrical / electronic certification required for the position
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Availability for September/October 2026 deployment
