Electro-Technical Rating for Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Rating (ETR) to join a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier.

Candidates must hold a valid US Visa. The ETR will support the electrical and technical department with maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
• Support the electrical officer and engine department during maintenance activities.
• Assist with emergency and safety equipment checks.
• Maintain records and follow onboard electrical safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an ETR
• Bulk carrier experience is advantageous
• Valid US Visa – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
