Job Description:
An established tanker operator is recruiting experienced Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) to join an Oil Tanker vessel in August 2026. The ETO will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel's electrical, electronic, and automation systems, ensuring reliable operation of essential onboard equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Monitor and maintain power generation, distribution, and control systems.
Identify electrical faults and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
Maintain relevant technical records and comply with vessel safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency
Previous experience as an ETO onboard Oil Tankers or similar vessels
Relevant electrical and automation experience
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Ability to work safely in a multicultural shipboard environment
