Job Description:
Michaelmar Phils., Inc. is urgently hiring an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join an LPG Tanker vessel. The ETO will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems onboard.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Monitor automation, alarm, control, and safety systems.
Assist with testing, inspections, and repairs of electrical installations.
Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Electro-Technical Officer / Electrician onboard vessels
LPG Tanker experience preferred
Valid ETO certification / Certificate of Competency as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents and relevant certificates
Availability for urgent deployment
