Job Description:
Elwin Crew Management Inc. is recruiting a qualified Electrical Technical Rating (ETR) to join a Container Vessel. The ETR will assist the electrical department with the maintenance, inspection, and safe operation of electrical equipment and systems onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with routine maintenance and inspection of electrical equipment.
Support the ETO with troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
Carry out electrical maintenance tasks as directed by the engineering department.
Report electrical faults and equipment abnormalities to the responsible officer.
Follow onboard safety procedures and electrical maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates, as applicable.
Relevant ETR / electrical rating qualification.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Previous experience as an ETR onboard a Container Vessel or similar vessel preferred.
Valid seafarer documentation.
