ETR for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting two Electro-Technical Ratings (ETRs) to assist with the maintenance and safe operation of electrical and electronic equipment aboard a bulk carrier vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical circuits, motors, and related systems.
• Carry out routine checks and preventive maintenance under the supervision of the responsible officer.
• Report electrical faults and equipment irregularities.
• Follow onboard electrical safety procedures and maintain relevant maintenance records.

Requirements

• Relevant electro-technical qualifications or rating certification, as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience, preferably on bulk carrier vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
