Job Description:
Moreta Shipping Lines Inc. is hiring a qualified Electrician to join its Container Fleet operating on domestic trade routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment onboard.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective repairs.
Assist with preventive maintenance of motors, generators, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
Maintain electrical tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Follow onboard electrical safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Marine Electrician preferred
Container Vessel experience preferred
Domestic vessel experience is an advantage
Relevant electrical certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good communication skills
