Job Description:
PT. Veratama Global is recruiting an experienced Electrician to join a Bulk Carrier vessel in mid-August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting onboard and must have relevant experience in the same position and vessel type.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot vessel electrical systems and equipment.
Carry out planned and corrective electrical maintenance.
Inspect electrical installations and identify potential faults.
Assist with repairs and testing of electrical equipment.
Follow onboard safety procedures and engineering instructions.
Requirements:
Valid certification appropriate for the Electrician position
All required documents available and not held by another agency
Documents valid for a minimum of 18 months
Good command of English
Good professional knowledge and attitude
Proven experience in the same rank/position and on Bulk Carrier vessels
Previous foreign-going vessel experience
Experience working with mixed-nationality crews
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate

Contract Duration: As per company terms
Salary: USD 7,000–8,000 per month
