Electrician / Electrical Engineer for Newbuild Dual-Fuel Container Vessel

Job Description:

OJ Crew is urgently recruiting an Electrician or Electrical Engineer for a newbuild dual-fuel container vessel powered by methanol.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates and medical certificate.
• Certificate of Proficiency under STCW regulation III/6 for Electro-Technical Officers.
• Good English communication skills.
• Advanced IGF training is advantageous.

Employment Details:

• Vessel: Newbuild dual-fuel container vessel.
• Flag: France.
• Gross Tonnage: 16,242.
• Deadweight: 13,665 tonnes.
• Main Engine: MAN B&W 5S50ME-C9-LGIM-coEG, 6,650 kW.
• Fuel: Methanol.
• Joining Date: 1 October 2026.
• Contract Duration: 3 months, plus or minus 1 month, with possible permanent rotation.
• Salary: From EUR 6,200 net per month, negotiable depending on experience.
