Job Description:
A reputable shipping company is seeking an experienced Electrical Officer (ETO/Electrician) to join its fleet of Supramax and Handy Bulk Carriers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel’s electrical, automation, and electronic systems while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations. The company offers a seniority bonus and free internet onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment.
Monitor power generation and distribution systems.
Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency
Previous experience on Supramax or Handy Bulk Carriers preferred
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: As per company policy
Salary: USD 5,200/month
