Job Description

Solpia Marine is recruiting Deck Cadets for its merchant fleet. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical sea experience and support the deck department under the supervision of qualified officers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist deck officers and ratings with routine vessel operations.
• Participate in navigation and deck maintenance activities.
• Assist with safety drills and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Complete assigned onboard training and familiarisation.

Requirements

• OIC License – required.
• Relevant maritime training and documentation.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Applicable STCW certificates.
• Good English communication skills.
