Job Description:
Candano Shipping Lines, Inc. is urgently hiring a qualified Deck Officer for domestic vessel operations. The successful candidate will assist with the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, supervise deck activities, and ensure compliance with company and maritime safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with safe navigation and watchkeeping duties.
Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily deck operations.
Oversee mooring, anchoring, cargo operations, and deck maintenance.
Ensure compliance with onboard safety and environmental procedures.
Maintain required navigational and operational records.
Requirements:
Valid Deck Officer CoC/COP appropriate to the position
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid and complete seafarer's documents
Previous experience as a Deck Officer preferred
Good command of English
Willingness to work on domestic routes
Available for ASAP joining
