Location: Worldwide
The Chief Officer will join a newbuilding Heavy Lift vessel M/V AMY, scheduled for delivery in Dec 2024 / Jan 2025. The role includes participation in final commissioning stages, preparation for sea trials, and safe operation of the vessel during the first commercial voyages. Candidate must be confident with Heavy Lift operations, cargo planning, and deck team management.
• Supervising deck operations and Heavy Lift activities
• Cargo planning and stability calculations
• Overseeing navigation watch
• Managing deck crew and ensuring safe working practices
• Assisting Master in ship operations and documentation
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Strong English communication
• Minimum experience on Heavy Lift vessels preferred
• Experience with newbuilding or delivery voyages is an advantage
