Job Description:
Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join its newly acquired VLCC. The candidate should have proven crude oil tanker experience, preferably on VLCCs, and a strong understanding of cargo handling and deck operations.
The Chief Officer will assist the Master in managing deck operations, cargo operations, stability, and onboard safety in accordance with company procedures and international maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck crew and daily deck maintenance operations.
• Plan and oversee crude oil loading, discharge, and cargo-related activities.
• Monitor vessel stability, ballast operations, and cargo documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tanker safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Assist the Master with safety management, crew training, and emergency preparedness.

Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer CoC appropriate for the vessel.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable tanker endorsements.
• Valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport, seaman's book, and required travel documents.
• Relevant sea service as Chief Officer on crude oil tankers; VLCC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cargo operations, stability, tanker safety, and international maritime regulations.
• Good command of English and effective leadership skills.
