Chief Officer for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is looking for a qualified Chief Officer to oversee deck operations, cargo handling, and safety procedures aboard an oil/chemical tanker.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck crew and routine deck operations.
• Plan and oversee cargo loading, discharging, and tank-cleaning operations.
• Ensure compliance with tanker safety procedures and pollution-prevention requirements.
• Assist the Master with vessel management and navigation.
• Maintain deck logs, cargo records, and safety documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
• Experience on oil/chemical tanker vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
