Chief Officer for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime is urgently recruiting an experienced Chief Officer for an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will support the Master in the safe operation of the vessel, cargo operations, deck management, and compliance with company and international maritime requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising deck operations and cargo handling activities.
• Supporting the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations.
• Managing deck crew and overseeing maintenance activities.
• Ensuring compliance with tanker safety and environmental procedures.
• Supporting emergency preparedness and onboard safety management.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer CoC and STCW certificates.
• Minimum 2 months of experience in rank.
• Oil/Chemical Tanker experience.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid US Visa preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
