Job Description:
The Chief Officer oversees vessel deck operations, navigation support, cargo management, and compliance with safety standards while serving as second-in-command to the Master.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision of deck crew and safe deck operations
• Cargo planning, monitoring, and documentation
• Navigation watchkeeping and passage assistance
• Maintenance of safety equipment and emergency readiness
• Implementation of SMS and regulatory compliance
• Coordination with the Master on operational matters
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer CoC
• Relevant vessel experience preferred
• Strong operational and leadership capabilities
• Valid STCW documentation and medical certificates
