Job Description

Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel (Philippines) Inc. is recruiting qualified Chief Officers for Fully Refrigerated Gas Tanker / VLGC vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations.
• Supervise cargo operations and deck activities.
• Manage deck maintenance and supervise deck personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Maintain cargo, deck, and safety documentation.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC), as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in the same rank and on the required vessel type.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable gas tanker qualifications.
• Proficiency in English communication.
