Job Description:
The Chief Officer assists the Master with navigation, deck operations, cargo handling, and supervises the deck crew to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck operations and cargo handling.
• Assist the Master in navigation and vessel operations.
• Maintain safety and security of the vessel and crew.
• Manage and train deck crew.
• Prepare operational reports for the Master.
Requirements:
• Valid Gas Course and DC certification.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi.
• Prior experience as Chief Officer on gas tankers preferred.
