Chief Officer for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is inviting applications from qualified Chief Officers for container vessel operations. The successful candidate will supervise deck operations and assist the Master with safe navigation and cargo management.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising deck crew and routine maintenance.
• Coordinating container cargo operations and ensuring proper lashing safety.
• Supporting navigation and passage planning.
• Conducting safety inspections and drills.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in rank; container vessel experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
