Chief Officer for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

A crewing company is seeking an experienced Chief Officer (C/O) to join Chemical / Product MR Tankers for September / October 2026 deployment.

The Chief Officer will oversee deck operations, cargo handling, deck maintenance, safety procedures, and the work of the deck department while supporting the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck operations and cargo activities.
• Assist the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations.
• Manage deck crew and ensure effective maintenance routines.
• Oversee tanker cargo handling and associated safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company, ISM, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
• Relevant Chemical / Product Tanker experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid tanker training/certificates as applicable
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
