Job Description: Jasindo Duta Segara is recruiting experienced seafarers for a Chief Officer position on a Chemical Tanker vessel. The successful candidate will join a merchant vessel operating in international trading areas. The role requires strong tanker experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of chemical tanker operations according to international maritime standards.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: Assist the Master in safe navigation and vessel operations Supervise deck department activities and cargo operations
Manage chemical cargo handling procedures and safety requirements
Ensure compliance with ISM Code, STCW, and company procedures
Maintain vessel documentation and safety records
Requirements: Valid STCW 2010 certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good English communication skills
Minimum 2 years experience in the same rank on the same type of vessel
Experience in foreign trading area Experience working on mixed-nationality crew vessels
Valid tanker certificates according to STCW requirements
