Job Description
Solpia Marine is seeking experienced Chief Officers for its merchant fleet. Candidates with experience on Container Vessels, Bulk Carriers, VLCCs, Oil/Chemical Tankers, or MPVs are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Supervise deck crew, cargo operations, and deck maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
- Support navigation and emergency preparedness.
- Maintain deck and cargo documentation.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as Chief Officer.
- Experience on the applicable merchant vessel type.
- Valid Chief Officer CoC and STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
- Good English communication skills.
