Job Description:
Shipping Preeminent and Management Corp. is urgently recruiting an experienced Chief Mate (Minor Patron) for domestic operations involving General Cargo. The successful candidate will assist the Master in the safe navigation, deck operations, cargo handling, and overall management of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations.
Supervise deck crew and deck maintenance activities.
Oversee cargo loading, discharge, and securing operations.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and tug-related deck operations.
Ensure compliance with onboard safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Minor Patron / Chief Mate certification as applicable
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant General Cargo and experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Philippine domestic experience/work eligibility required
