Chief Engineer — Container Ship

OJ Crew seeks a Chief Engineer for worldwide service. Joining: 25 October 2026. Contract: four months plus one month at the owner’s option.

  • Monthly net pay: EUR 7,750 plus bonuses on the first contract; EUR 8,000 plus bonuses on the second.
  • At least 12 months in rank on container ships.
  • Valid STCW documents, medical certificate and Italian endorsement, or ability to obtain it.
  • Very good English.
  • Italian flag; MAN B&W engine, 14,737 kW; DWT 28,038 and GT 27,145.

The official recruitment record lists the 27 EU nationalities, Latvian non-citizens and the historical Netherlands Antilles entry. Eligibility for the latter entries must be confirmed with the recruiter.
