Job Description:
The company is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to manage all engine room operations onboard Supramax and Handy Bulk Carriers. Applicants must possess Main Engine experience and demonstrate strong leadership in engineering operations. A Seniority Bonus is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Manage all engine room operations and engineering personnel.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Supervise planned maintenance and repairs.
Maintain compliance with ISM, MARPOL, and company procedures.
Monitor spare parts, fuel consumption, and technical documentation.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
Previous Chief Engineer experience on Bulk Carriers
Main Engine experience required
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: As per company policy
Salary: USD 9,700/month
