Job Description

DESE Crew Management is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for a Bulk Carrier Vessel. The Chief Engineer will have overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the vessel's engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing engine-room operations and engineering personnel.
• Supervising main and auxiliary machinery operation.
• Planning and overseeing maintenance and repairs.
• Monitoring machinery performance and engineering systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer CoC and STCW certificates.
• Previous Chief Engineer experience.
• Bulk Carrier experience preferred.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer's documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
