Job Description:
Shipping Preeminent and Management Corp. is urgently recruiting an Engine Cadet for domestic General Cargo and Tug Boat operations. The position is suitable for a cadet with a good academic background who is seeking practical onboard experience and exposure to engine-room operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineering officers with routine engine-room operations.
Support machinery inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
Participate in planned maintenance and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
Maintain engine-room housekeeping and safety standards.
Gain practical experience in accordance with onboard training requirements.
Requirements:
Good academic background / good school record
Valid STCW certificates applicable to cadets
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Willingness to undergo practical onboard training
Philippine domestic eligibility required
