Job Description:
Harbin Bay Shipping Corporation is urgently seeking a qualified Engine Cadet to join its Tanker Vessel. This is an excellent opportunity for cadets to begin their onboard training and gain practical engine room experience under the supervision of senior engineering officers. Immediate deployment is available for candidates who meet all documentary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the engine department with daily machinery operations and maintenance.
Participate in engine room inspections and watchkeeping duties under supervision.
Support preventive maintenance of engine room equipment.
Maintain engine room cleanliness and safety standards.
Learn and follow company procedures and STCW requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Seafarer's Record Book (SRB)
Basic Training (BT) Certificate – COP
SDSD Certificate – COP
BTOC Certificate – COP
SCRB Certificate
Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch (STCW III/4)
Transcript of Records (TOR)
Good Moral Certificate
Completed Classroom Instruction (CCI)
Medical Examination and Drug Test Results
NBI Clearance
