Job Description:
Shipping Preeminent and Management Corp. is urgently recruiting a Deck Cadet for domestic General Cargo and Tug Boat operations. This opportunity is intended for candidates seeking practical onboard experience and exposure to navigation, deck operations, cargo handling, and seamanship.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist deck officers with routine vessel operations.
Participate in navigation and bridge watchkeeping training.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
Support deck maintenance, cleaning, and equipment checks.
Gain practical experience in accordance with onboard training requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates applicable to cadets
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Previous onboard experience required
Willingness to complete practical deck training
Philippine domestic eligibility required
