Job Description:
A leading crewing company is recruiting a Deck Cadet (D/CDT) for an LPG carrier. This is an excellent opportunity for cadets seeking experience aboard gas carriers. Candidates must possess Basic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (BTLGT) and an Officer in Charge (OIC) License as specified by the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist deck officers with navigation and cargo operations.
Participate in maintenance and safety routines onboard.
Maintain training records and complete onboard cadet assignments.
Follow company safety procedures and STCW requirements.
Support deck operations during port and sea passages.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid BTLGT (Basic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations) certificate.
Officer in Charge (OIC) License is mandatory.
Previous LPG vessel exposure is an advantage.
