Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting 5 experienced Bosuns to join bulk carrier vessels. The successful candidates will supervise deck ratings and support safe and efficient deck operations, including maintenance, mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate deck ratings during daily operations.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Organize and oversee deck maintenance and preservation.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of deck equipment and tools.
Support onboard safety drills and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Bosun/Deck Rating certification as applicable
Previous experience as Bosun on bulk carrier or similar merchant vessels
Good knowledge of deck maintenance, mooring, and cargo operations
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
