Job Description:
Synergy Group is currently recruiting experienced Bosuns to join General Cargo vessels. The Bosun will supervise and assist the deck crew with daily deck operations, maintenance, mooring, cargo-related activities, and other duties required for the safe operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the deck crew.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of deck equipment and tools.
Follow all onboard safety procedures and company requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant experience as a Bosun onboard General Cargo or similar vessels.
Good knowledge of deck operations and safety procedures.
Ability to supervise and work effectively with deck crew.
