Job Description:
Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime L.L.C. is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join its newly acquired VLCC. The successful candidate will supervise routine deck work and support the Chief Officer in coordinating deck crew activities.
Previous experience on crude oil tankers is preferred. The candidate must understand safe deck working practices and the precautions required in tanker operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck ratings during maintenance, cleaning, painting, and repair work.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Inspect and maintain deck tools, equipment, and working areas.
• Ensure compliance with personal protective equipment requirements and safe working procedures.
• Support deck officers during cargo-related operations as assigned.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience as a Bosun or senior deck rating.
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position.
• Valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport, seaman's book, and required travel documents.
• Previous crude oil tanker experience preferred; VLCC experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of deck maintenance, mooring operations, and onboard safety.
• Basic to good English communication skills.
