Job Description:
A reputable crewing company is recruiting experienced Bosuns (BSN) for Tanker Vessels. This opportunity is ideal for qualified deck ratings with previous tanker experience who are ready to join an international fleet. Candidates should possess valid maritime certification and demonstrate strong leadership in deck operations while maintaining high safety standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate the daily work of the deck crew.
Maintain deck equipment, mooring systems, and cargo handling gear.
Lead mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations safely and efficiently.
Ensure deck maintenance, painting, cleaning, and preservation work is completed.
Follow company safety procedures and support compliance with international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Previous experience as Bosun on tanker vessels is preferred.
Valid seafarer certificates and travel documents.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
