Bosun for Oil Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Executive Manning Services Philippines Inc. is recruiting a qualified Bosun (BSN) to join an oil tanker vessel. The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, assist with deck operations, and ensure that maintenance and safety procedures are followed onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck crew during routine maintenance and deck operations.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related deck activities.
• Maintain deck equipment, tools, and working areas in safe condition.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures and instructions from deck officers.
• Support emergency drills and maintain readiness of safety equipment.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Bosun onboard vessels; oil tanker experience is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to follow onboard safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
