Job Description:
Group Phils., Inc. is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join an oil/chemical tanker. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support the safe execution of mooring, maintenance, cargo-related, and general deck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise Able Seamen and other deck ratings.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
Coordinate deck maintenance, painting, and cleaning.
Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
Support safe cargo and tanker operations as directed by the deck officers.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Bosun/deck rating certification as applicable
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous tanker experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
