Job Description

Status Maritime Corp. is hiring experienced Bosuns to supervise deck crew activities and support safe deck, mooring, maintenance, and cargo-related operations onboard Oil/Chemical Tankers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily deck maintenance and preservation.
• Coordinate mooring, anchoring, and deck work.
• Distribute tasks and guide Able Seamen and Ordinary Seamen.
• Maintain deck tools, equipment, and working areas.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bosun.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant tanker or oil/chemical vessel experience.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong leadership and safety awareness.
