Bosun for LNG Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Wilhelmsen is hiring 2 Bosuns for a takeover LNG Tanker vessel. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support the deck department with maintenance, mooring, anchoring, cargo operations, and other deck activities. Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate daily deck maintenance activities.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Allocate work to deck ratings and monitor task completion.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.
• Valid BTLGT Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
• Relevant experience as a Bosun on LNG vessels.
