Job Description:
The Bosun supervises deck crew, ensures deck maintenance, and assists in cargo operations and vessel upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck crew and daily deck operations.
• Inspect and maintain deck equipment and safety gear.
• Assist in cargo handling operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks.
• Report operational issues to the Chief Officer.
Requirements:
• Valid Gas Course and DC certification.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi.
• Prior experience on gas tankers preferred.
