Bosun for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting an experienced Bosun for a Container Vessel. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support mooring, maintenance, cargo-related deck operations, and general seamanship duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck crew during routine operations and maintenance.
• Assist with mooring and anchoring operations.
• Coordinate deck maintenance, painting, cleaning, and preservation.
• Support cargo and deck operations.
• Maintain deck equipment and ensure safe working practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bosun.
• Container Vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
