Bosun for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently recruiting an experienced Bosun to join its Container Carrier fleet.

The Bosun will supervise and participate in deck maintenance, mooring, cargo-support, and general deck operations under the direction of the deck officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and participate in daily deck operations.
• Assist with mooring and anchoring operations.
• Coordinate deck maintenance, painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Supervise ABs and OSs as directed.
• Support safe cargo and container operations.

Requirements

• Previous Bosun experience
• Relevant Container Carrier experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
