Bosun for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join a Bulk Carrier vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting deck operations, supervising deck ratings, and ensuring that maintenance and cargo-related activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate daily deck maintenance activities.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo operations, and deck work.
• Lead and monitor the work of Able Seamen and Ordinary Seamen.
• Maintain deck equipment, machinery, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience as a Bosun on bulk carriers or similar vessels is preferred.
